Charlotte Fontaine, Sara Noui and Hugo Chassard met in 2013 at the National School of Architecture in Versailles, where they became friends and together led numerous projects and architectural competitions. Once graduated, they worked for several years as project managers in architectural offices in the Paris region.
On the strength of their experiences, they decided to join forces to found Ami studio : a workshop for creation and research on architecture, urbanism and design.
The Ami studio considers its practice as craftsmanship. Each project is a dialogue between context, scale, program and materials, with the desire to produce a sustainable architecture while respecting the singularity of the places. His approach is based on strong concepts, spatial evidence, and a search for simplicity to create timeless architectures. Its expertise and the quality of Project Manager of its Architects allow a mastery of the projects until their realization in France and abroad.
Always looking for the best way to intervene whether through renovation, rehabilitation or new construction, Ami studio favors bio-sourced materials and short circuits.
The studio's projects involve all fields of creation : art, design and architecture. The choices of construction principles, materials, colors and textures are at the heart of the design in order to create unique atmospheres.
Ami studio develops places to shelter, live, gather and work. It qualifies as a multidisciplinary studio that wants to bring its own identity.
